Homeowner Hell!!!

This is something I never even forsaw in my dreams of home ownership. We are staying up late prepping thanksgiving dinner. Whipping up some pie, jell-o and defrosting the turkey in the sink. There was a strange sound coming from the kitchen sink like breaking ice, when all of the sudden the entire kitchen sink caves in. Apparently my beautiful undermount sink is just glued in place. Here it is thanksgiving eve and I have plenty of dishes and NO SINK. Thanks to my ingenious spouse that woke from a dead sleep to chaotic screems in the kitchen and his creativity ("like handy manny as Sam would say") we no longer have a sink sitting on the garbage disposal. He used my son's little wooden chair to prop up the sink. We can now use the water but I don't dare place anything in it. How am I to find a repair man on Thanksgiving day? I will post pictures later, this is to good not to share.

Moving Misery

So, my poor mother is moving for like the 35th time in her life. She hates to move and you think she would be a pro by now but she just hates it. Someday when I am rich I will buy her a home and pay someone to move her. For now, it is up to us as her family to do it, ugh. Dad is on crutches with a bum knee and mom is week with poor health. Thank goodness Paul and Jeanne came today and I was on call. Marissa is also flying in to help and will be here tomorrow. The good news is she will be only two blocks from us, Sam and Nat will be happy to have her close by and so will I. Back to work tommorrow we are running out of time to get it all moved and clean. I'm tired just thinking of all there is to do. So if you are bored, love to move things and live in Idaho Falls we will gladly include you.

About to take flight...

My little hams. They loved having their pictures taken. My friend Cassie from work did a photo shoot for halloween. You can see more of her work at pinkpaisley1.blogspot.com

So I am not a frequent blogger as you can tell, my last post was 9 months ago...hahaha. What can I say, I am busy. This is my little fairy princess, and she is a delicate girly girl. She is only 17 months and she loves dressing up and wearing dresses. Although she loves to rough house with her brother.

And Sam is all boy! He found these awesome wings at a store in Boise and we knew he was Batman from that moment on. He is so excited about the Halloween Carnival at school this Friday, he asks me if it is the right day all day every day. He is so smart and amazes me on a daily basis. He is growing so fast!!! Watch for him, he is determined to fly with his new Batman wings.

Christmas Crazziness, a full house

Well, It was wonderful and hectic to see my siblings for christmas. We had a great time and then just after one of my sisters left we found out that Mom's cancer had metastisized. That sent the entire vacation into a rollercoaster of emotions. We begged Jeanne and Paul to make the long trip back from Boise for a second time to have family pictures. I am so glad they came. We had the pictures taken by Alyce Clegg. She was so wonderful, anyone who can survive more than three hours with the 13 of us and still have us laughing in the end is amazing. Once we get them back I will have to post more. This is short because: (1) I don't know what I am doing, (2) School starts this week, (3) I have a million things to do. I h to make another post since it is pathetic it has taken me this long to post again. haha. I will have to post halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas pictures late.
